The school teachers and books and our own parents tell us we should read to our kids every day. It will help them develop a love for reading and improve their literacy and vocabulary skills. All true….but the most valuable aspect is often not mentioned….the cuddles on the couch.

An Autumn Day in the Park

Every day after school, it’s rush rush rush to after school activities.

On Thursday, piano lessons were cancelled last minute. It was one of those magically warm Autumn evenings and as soon as we got home from school, we headed straight for the park at the end of our street.
